An existing abandoned lake has been brought back to life by designing a very unique landscape that was inspired by drought land, Translating this to the plot level, landscape concept assumes that all space is green space to begin with and that the end users can enjoy the rest of the ameni­ties that the park could offer. The result is a series of intimate green paths with pocket spaces surrounding the existing lagoon and a walkable island where pedestrians can relax and enjoy. Building on the land­scape concept described previously, the proposed masterplan has been divided into three key char­acter areas: the existing lagoon at the center of the site, the walkable land­scape experience at the perimeter of the lagoon and the amenities (playgrounds, skate park kiosk etc.) to complete the overall experi­ence of all users.
